As part of my third-year project at university, I designed, manufactured, and tested a hybrid rocket thruster. This project allowed me to explore the intricacies of space travel and develop my understanding of rocket propulsion.

As part of my A-Levels, I completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) in which I manufactured a remotely operated robotic arm. 

This was done as part of a third-year Finite Element Analysis (FEA) module, and involved modelling and analysis of a subsection from a ship hull to evaluate the effect of different loading conditions.

As part of my first-year design and computing module, I used a Python program to identify a suitable aerofoil design. Then using Solidworks simulation I was able to identify an optimal rear wing design to meet the design requirements.

As part of a third-year group project, I worked with a team to design a Conductivity-Temperature-Depth (CTD) sensor system for deployment in shallow waters with a depth of up to 500m.

During my first year of university, I applied the Solidworks features I had been taught to design a parametric piston and piston casing that can easily be modified to meet the required parameters. The main modifications include features such as the number of fins and oil rings, inner/outer diameters, and height

As part of my third-year module, I used COMSOL to build heat exchangers and then simulate the transient heat transfer characteristics. Furthermore, I was able to parametrise models and subsequently optimise the heat exchangers to meet the required heat fluxes.

During my time at university, I undertook a variety of supplementary training courses to expand my understanding of different machining processes.

As a second-year group project, I worked with my team to build a device that records proximity data and variations in the wind speed to generate a measured response.

As part of my GCSE Electronics practical, I constructed a battery tester capable of detecting the charge level and indicating it using an audio-visual signal.
